1. Product Introduction
Polybutadiene Rubber is a single-polymer produced
by polymerization of 1,3-butadiene.
It has 3 chemical bond structures of cis-1,4, trans-1,4,
and vinyl.
Also it is divided into High cis BR and Low cis
BR according to the configuration of cis-1,4.
High cis BR is a product that has a configuration
of more than 94% cis-1,4. This product has excellent
abrasion resistance, resiliency, age resistance,
and water-resistance. In addition, it has a very
low 2nd transition temperature (Tg) of -100¡£C, therefore
it is the most widely used synthetic rubber along
with SBR.
KBR 01 and 01L are used in tires, footwear,
belts, rubber hoses, and other mechanical rubber
products. Aromatic oil is added to KBR31,
and it is mainly used for conveyer belts and tires.
Especially, it shows excellent performance in snowtire
treads.
